Sunday morning at 10:30 at Durham 6th Form Centre
A number of families make up the congregation at Christchurch, and we have a flourishing children’s ministry ranging from the very youngest, to the oldest. Every Sunday morning at Christchurch we have activities for children of all ages. The ministry is overseen by our children’s worker Sarah Gilbert.
All of our children’s ministry is fully supervised by leaders who have been trained and police checked in strict accordance with our child protection policy.

KidZone is an afterschool club for children in reception up to year 2 on Tuesdays, to relax after school, read a bible story together, and play fun games and crafts. For more information please contact the Church Office.
Mondays from 6-7pm
XTB (Explore the Bible) is a kids Bible study for school years 3-6. Each week we have fun as we chat, play games and look at the Bible together.
Sticky Fingers runs on a Friday from 9:30-11:30 at the Vane Tempest Hall
Sticky Fingers is our babies and toddlers' group. We have messy play, crafts, themed activities and Bible Stories. Sticky Fingers is for pre-school children and their parents or carers and runs every Friday during term time at the Vane Tempest Hall. Entry fee £2 per child.

Dads' Sticky Fingers
Our exciting new playgroup for dads with their under 7s. If you are a dad with any children under 7, then this is ideal for you, and you don't need to have ever been to church before.
Toys and activities are provided for the children, with bacon rolls, tea and coffee for the dads. There is a charge of £2 per child, and a maximum of £4 per family. There are a number of helpers who look after the children, who have all been CRB checked.
Dads' Sticky Fingers runs monthly, on the first Saturday of every month. We meet at the Vane Tempest Hall in Gilesgate behind the Queen's Head pub. The next Dads' Sticky Fingers are on the following dates:
- Saturday 5th November
- Saturday 3rd December
- Saturday 7th January

Once a term on a Saturday we have a morning of fun for all the family, including games, crafts and a talk about Jesus from the Bible. Our next Fun Day will be on the 10th March 2012.
Holiday Club
Every year in the Summer holidays we run a holiday club for primary school age children. This year we'll be running a sports camp, provisional dates are 24th-27th July, with a family event on 28th July. More details will follow soon!
