International Students
Durham is a great place to be a student! Not only is it an interesting city with lots of history but there are loads of student activities and groups to get involved in while you're studying. That said, no matter how far you've travelled, it's daunting to arrive in a completely new country with new customs and a new language.
Each year there are students from all over the world who make their home at Christchurch. In the last two years alone, students have come from Africa, Europe and many different countries throughout the Far East, so wherever you're from, you're very welcome at Christchurch.
We currently organise two groups specifically for international students during the week, in addition to our Sunday evening service at 6pm in the Shakespeare Hall.

iFocus
iFocus is a group for international Christian students that meets on a Tuesday evening. Each week we study the bible together in small groups and seek to help each other live as Christians at university. We then gather together and think through what the bible really says on some of the big issues Christians face.
iFocus meets in a house in Durham from 7-9pm every Tuesday. Lifts are available from the DSU at 6:30. Please contact Rob Brown for more information

iClub
iClub is a group for international students who want to find out more about Christianity. We meet every Wednesday for tea and cake with friends, and then study the Bible in groups. There's a chance to ask absolutely any question in a really relaxed environment. There's no better way to find out what Christianity is really all about!
iClub meets every Wednesday in term time from 6:00-8.30pm in Starbucks Coffee Shop.
