Sunday
at Christchurch
You are welcome to join us for any of our Sunday services at 10:30am, 5pm, 6pm or 7pm. Details of all our services are available on our term card.
Sunday@10:30
Sunday at 10:30, is the service to which many families come. It is held at Houghall Community College, a short distance from the centre of Durham. A fully supervised crèche runs through the service, with Sunday Club for children (Scramblers (age 2½-4), Climbers (age 4-7), Adventurers (age 7-9), Explorers (age 10-11)). Sunday Club is supervised by our children's worker, Alison Barratt. Every few weeks we have an All Age Service at which children and young people stay in the main service with adults. We regularly host church lunches as an opportunity for us to get to know one another.
Sunday@5
The 5pm service, now held in the Town Hall, is one of our student services. After
the service, a meal will be served.
Sunday@6
Sunday@6 is a new service for the local church family, especially those in TNT (our 20s-30s group) and those in Forum (14-18 year olds). It is held in the Bailey Rooms (opposite the Georgian Window) on Saddler Street.
Sunday@7
The 7pm service, now held in the Town Hall, is one of our student services. All
are warmly welcome to join us for After 8s (pizza, snacks and drinks) which will
be in the Bailey Rooms after the service. It’s a great chance to get to know one another over a bite to eat. |
