Sunday Mornings at Christchurch

 

 

10:30am at Durham 6th Form Centre 

Sunday Mornings is our families congregation.  It is held at Durham 6th Form Centre in the centre of Durham.  Every few months we have an All Age Service at which children and young people stay in the main service with the adults.  We regularly host Church lunches as an opportunity for us to get to know one another.

Christianity Explored courses run alongside the Sunday Morning meeting to provide an opportunity for those who want to explore the claims of Jesus.

Children on Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday during the meeting Sunday Club runs offering Bible teaching, games and activities for children of all ages.  Each of our clubs is fully supervised and staffed by trained leaders who have been police checked in line with our child protection policy.  Every Sunday we also run a fully supervised crèche.  Our children’s groups are:

Crèche: Fully supervised for ages 0-2

Scramblers: Play and Bible stories for ages 2-3

Climbers: Bible teaching, games and crafts for ages 3-5

Adventurers: Bible teaching, games and crafts for ages 5-8

Explorers: Bible teaching, games and puzzles for ages 8-11

Pathfinders: Bible teaching, games and quizzes for ages 11-14

Sunday Club is supervised by our children's worker, Sarah Gilbert.
