We have fully-supervised Children’s Church at our 10am service.
Everyone is welcome as we begin our Sunday morning meetings at 10am. Following songs, and sometimes Bible readings and prayers, children usually head out to their groups after the first 15 minutes.
We have a fully-supervised crèche in the Upper Hall for children up to 2 years, with a separate baby corner for those not yet moving around. Nursing mothers are welcome to stay and feed their children in crèche.
2 - 3 year olds are welcome in Scramblers where we have fun learning about God together; we usually read a Bible story, play some games, do a craft, and have some free-play time.
3 - 16 year olds split off into different groups to look at the Bible together. (Feel free to ask when you arrive.) Climbers is our group for 3-5 year olds, Adventurers for school years 1-3, Explorers for years 4-6, and Pathfinders for years 7-9. Each group is looked after by leaders and they look at the Bible in a child-friendly and relevant way. We usually end our group times with a craft or activity that the children can take home that will be linked to the day’s Bible story.
Children are supervised throughout by leaders who have been trained and DBS checked in accordance with our safeguarding policy.
Children must be signed in and out of Children’s Church by a responsible adult, unless forms have been signed to clarify any alternative arrangements.
