Sundays are at the heart of our Church life here at Christchurch and we would love you to come and join us. Week by week we gather together to listen to God's word, praise God's name, and support and encourage each other. Our Bible teaching works through books of the Bible and seeks to connect God's never changing word to his ever changing world.
We meet together in our church building at 10am each Sunday of the year. During University term time, we also gather at 7pm in the evening. Everyone is welcome. Why not come along and try it out for yourself?
Morning Service
We are a church family made up of people from all ages and walks of life. The service starts with everyone singing and praying together before the children and young people go out to meet in their groups.
There is a supervised creche and then children's groups for those aged up to 14, which provid a safe environment for our children to learn more about Jesus. There is Bible teaching, games, crafts, and activities run by trained leaders, each of whom has a DBS check in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
Evening Service
While we don't run children's groups at our evening service everyone is welcome to come and join us. Along with singing, praying, and listening to God's word we make regular space to hear about what God is doing in the lives of individual members of our church family.
Given the number of new students who join us each year, we try to keep our song list short to help people get used to the songs we sing. If you want to familarise yourself with the songs we will be singing next year then check out our evening service playlist.
